Existing water supply is from poorly designed boreholes with low discharges.
Services included definition of the towns rehabilitation and expansion needs, and formulationof immediate and long-term development programs for both water supply and sanitation systems.
Work was carried out in three phases, as follows:
Phase I - Immediate Rehabilitation and Expansion
Phase II – Feasibility Study and Preliminary DesignSocioeconomic survey / study / definition of population's capability to pay for the proposed services
