In entering the field of BOT and BOO projects, TAHAL has undertaken both to finance/construct facilities and operate them, thus taking over an activity that would normally be carried out by the public sector.

In accordance with BOT principles, the company bases the repayment of financing on project revenues.

Thus it assumes not only performance and commercial risks, but also risks relating to the equity it invests in construction, operation and maintenance of the projects in addition to the debt component.
